Isobel Lu

Isobel Lu is a graduating senior at the University of Maryland, College Park, majoring in Environmental Science & Policy with a concentration in Land Use. She is particularly interested in how effective land use programs affect the climate, public health, and equitable spaces. Isobel previously worked with the nonprofit Defenders of Wildlife where she used GIS to map wild animal habitats and contributed to biodiversity and habitat protection policy, including the Endangered Species Act. In her free time, Isobel loves listening to music, trying new food, and spending time with her cats.
